
Estes Park couldn’t quite keep up with a strong Strasburg squad, losing by a score of 49-7 on Friday, Oct. 25.
Strasburg quarterback Collin Russell led the passing attack with 64 yards through the air, tossing two touchdowns with no interceptions. Strasburg’s leading receiver was A.j. Hemphill, who caught one pass for 29 yards and one score.
Strasburg’s rushing attack was lead by Trystan Graf who accrued 184 yards and three touchdowns in the game, averaging 15.3 yards per carry. Jayden Zacher added 59 yards and one touchdown on the ground, averaging 8.4 yards per carry.
Collin Reetz led Estes Park’s passing attack with 61 yards through the air. Reetz also added 28 yards and one touchdown on the ground.
Elijah Kitchen paced all Estes Park rushers with 32 yards in the game, averaging 4 yards per carry. Kitchen also tacked on 33 receiving yards.
Both teams will stay at home in their next contest, with Strasburg hosting Flatirons Academy and Estes Park taking on Highland.
