
Bishop Machebeuf earned a win when they beat Englewood 26-12 on Friday, Oct. 25.
Ryan Schmitt powered Bishop Machebeuf’s passing attack with 184 yards through the air. Schmitt also chipped in one touchdown on the ground. Jack Farmer lead all Bishop Machebeuf receivers with two receptions for 86 yards and one score. Tommy Burns got in on the action in the passing game as well, catching three passes for 57 yards and one touchdown.
Darius Richards paced all Bishop Machebeuf rushers with 86 yards and one touchdown in the contest, averaging 5.1 yards per carry.
Mason Robertson led Englewood’s passing attack with 152 yards through the air. Englewood’s leading receiver was Nate Gravagno, who caught five passes for 72 yards and one score.
Yakez Daughtry paced the Englewood rushing attack by running for 87 yards and one touchdown in the game, averaging 6.7 yards per carry.
In their next games, Bishop Machebeuf will play host to Kent Denver, while Englewood will travel to play Ridge View Academy.
