Tuesday’s 2 p.m. NFL trade deadline passed without the Broncos making any moves.

A week ago, Broncos general manager dealt receiver to the San Francisco 49ers (along with a 2020 fifth-round pick) for third- and fourth-round selections next year.

Cornerback Chris Harris and defensive end were the subject of trade rumors as the Broncos’ season began to fall apart. They are 2-6 entering Sunday’s game against Cleveland. Harris and Wolfe, who have played their entire careers with the Broncos, are scheduled to be free agents after the season.

Harris, in his ninth year, is a four-time Pro Bowler who stayed away from the Broncos’ offseason program in search of a new contract. That didn’t materialize, but Elway gave Harris a raise for this season.

Harris, 30, has 22 tackles and one interception in eight games this year.

Wolfe, in his eighth year, has appeared in 104 regular-season games (all starts). He has 22 tackles and his four sacks are his most since 2015.
