After a two-day snowstorm on Sunday and Monday, 4-8 inches of snow blanketed the Denver area. Before snow melted, another snowstorm rolled in the Front Range on Tuesday and is expected to continue through Wednesday morning.

If current projections are on point, then this week’s upcoming snowfall could be over 12 inches in Denver.

So far this month, Denver has officially seen 4.8 inches of snowfall at Denver International Airport, already making it the city’s snowiest October since 2012. However, that 4.8-inch total number is significantly less than what the majority of the metro area — including downtown Denver — has seen so far this month.
