Heritage handed Denver South a loss in a 56-36 showdown on Friday, Oct. 25.

Conner Cummiskey led Heritage’s passing attack with 288 yards through the air, tossing five touchdowns with no interceptions. Cummiskey’s most relied on target in the contest was Terrance Ferguson, who caught seven passes for 136 yards and four scores. Caden Downs contributed in the passing game as well, reeling in four passes for 124 yards and two touchdowns.

Doug Moore paced all Heritage rushers with 80 yards and one touchdown in the contest, averaging 5.3 yards per carry.

In their next games, Heritage will stay home and play Gateway, while Denver South will travel to play Aurora Central.
