
Denverites will see a break from the blistering cold on Saturday, as sunny skies and warmer temperatures return to the Front Range.
Highs in Denver are expected to reach 52 degrees, according to the National Weather Service in Boulder.
Higher elevations could see winds gusting up to 50 miles per hour, causing localized blowing snow. Temperatures in the higher mountains will see wind chill readings around zero, the NWS said.
Mostly dry conditions are expected to continue through the middle of next week.
Sunny & warmer today. Northwest winds gusting to 50 mph over the higher elevations of the Front Range & occasionally down the east slopes as far as the Peak to Peak highway, Idaho Springs, & into South Park along US 285. The winds will cause localized blowing snow at times.
