The metro area is heading into a mostly sunny week with high temperatures below normal for this time of year until Friday when the high will rise into the low 60s, according to the National Weather Service.
Monday will be “a quiet day with a little bit of clouds streaming off the mountains,” said Greg Hanson, NWS meteorologist. The high temperature is expected to be 45 degrees with lows overnight in the 20s.
Tuesday will be sunny with the temperature expected to warm to a high of 57 degrees. That is just shy of the 58 degree normal high for this time of year, Hanson said. The overnight low is expected to be 30 degrees.
Wednesday’s high is expected to be 50 degrees with the temperature dropping to 28 degrees overnight.
Thursday’s high is expected to be 48 degrees with a low of 26 degrees overnight.
Going into the weekend the mercury will climb to 61 on Friday and drop to about 30 degrees overnight. Saturday should again be in the low 60s before dropping to 52 degrees on Sunday, Hanson said.
