Labor Day weekend revelers can expect scattered rain and warm temperatures as they explore the Front Range this upcoming holiday.
High temperatures are forecast to hover in the 80s and 90s throughout the state’s urban corridor and the plains on Saturday, Sunday and Labor Day, according to the
Scattered rainfall is expected during each afternoon and evening with the highest chances for precipitation on Sunday and Monday in the high country, NWS said.
On Saturday, the high temperature is forecast from 55 to 78 degrees in the mountains and valleys and 85 to 95 along the plains with a chance for isolated to scattered showers and storms in the afternoon and evening, the weather service said.
On Sunday, the high is forecast from 54 to 78 degrees in the mountains and valleys and 84 to 92 degrees along the plains, according to the weather service. Scattered showers and storms are expected in the afternoon and evening, NWS said.
On Labor Day, the mountains and valleys are predicted to see highs from 54 to 76 degrees with the plains likely to see temperatures from 84 to 91 degrees. Scattered showers and storms are forecast for the afternoon and evening, the NWS said.
