A Denver pedestrian struck by a car Monday night has died, Denver police reported.
The woman was hit near the intersection of Evans Avenue and Jasmine Street. She was taken to a hospital for serious injuries, and police tweeted Tuesday morning that she was pronounced dead at a hospital.
The driver who hit the woman remained on scene, according to a Denver Police Department tweet.
