Roads were wet in Denver early on Sept. 10, 2014.

Metro area roads are for the most part dry but bridges, overpasses and highway ramps can be icy and motorists on Thursday morning, according to the Colorado Department of Transportation.

Mountain roads are slick with freezing drizzle, said Steve Allen, of the Colorado Department of Transportation’s traffic operations. But “roads are passable, you just need to use caution.”

There were only three accidents city wide in Denver at 6:46 a.m., according to Denver Police Technician Tyrone Campbell. “We’re not seeing any significant increase in accidents. There’s only three across the city. We could see three in July.”
