Freezing drizzle! Snow! Freezing fog! That trifecta is in store for the metro area before noon on Thursday, according to the National Weather Service.

So it’s a sloppy morning. But total daytime snow accumulation is expected to be less than an inch. A little more snow – less than a half-inch – in the evening before 11 p.m.

The overnight low is expected to be 26 degrees.

On Friday morning there is a 30 percent chance of snow showers before 11 a.m. Clouds are expected to clear and the day become mostly sunny with a high temperature near 43 degrees. Friday night’s low is expected to be about 28 degrees.

Saturday should be sunny with a high of 56 degrees and an overnight low of 29.

Sunday is expected to be be sunny with a high of 59 degrees and a low of 32.
