Australian psych-pop act sent ripples through the Denver concert scene earlier this year with that left many fans feeling burned — and promoter AEG Presents Rocky Mountains canceling purchases following allegations of fraud.

Now the band, led by Kevin Parker, is returning to satisfy demand at a sports arena thatap at least four times as large as Mission’s maximum, 3,950-person capacity.

Tame Impala will headline the Pepsi Center on July 30 as part of the band’s North American tour with Perfume Genius, with tickets on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 13.

The best part? Tickets are relatively affordable, at least for a Pepsi Center show. Passes for the 8 p.m. concert will run$48.25-$78.25, not including service fees, and are available at or by calling303-405-1100.

The Denver date precedes the release of Tame Impala’s new album, “The Slow Rush,” which drops on Interscope Feb. 14.The tour will kick off March 9 at San Diego’s Pechanga Arena and finish Aug. 7 at The Gorge Amphitheatre in George, Wash.
