A man was fatally shot early Sunday in Aurora.
Officers found the man, who has not been identified, lying in the street in the 11000 block of East Colfax Street shortly after midnight. The man had been shot in his upper body, according to Aurora police.
He was taken to a hospital and died at about 6 a.m. Police are investigating the incident as a homicide.
