
Plateau Valley couldn’t quite keep up with a potent Rangely squad, losing by a score of 36-14 on Saturday.
Rangely quarterback Anthony Lujan led the passing attack with 127 yards through the air, tossing two touchdowns without an interception. Lujan also added two touchdowns on the ground.
Ryan Richens spearheaded the Rangely ground game by finishing with 52 yards and one touchdown in the game. Richens also tacked on 85 receiving yards and one touchdown.
Justice Kuper led Plateau Valley’s passing attack with 96 yards through the air, tossing one touchdown and one interception. Kuper also added 52 yards on the ground. Kuper’s favorite receiver in the ballgame was Elisha Lopez, who caught four passes for 83 yards and one score.
Emmet Kuper lead the Plateau Valley rushing attack by racking up 98 yards and one touchdown in the contest, averaging 8.9 yards per carry.
