The 46th annual Tuba Christmas Concert lead by conductor Bill Clark was performed with about 300 tuba players in the galleria of the Denver Performing Arts Complex in Denver on Dec. 22, 2019.
Some 300 tuba players gather to play holiday tunes and sing holiday songs. The annual event is celebrated in cities around the world. Tuba Christmas was conceived in 1974 by Harvey Phillips as a tribute to his teacher and mentor William J. Bell, who was born on Christmas Day in 1902.
