
The light rail system and buses are seeing delays due to winter weather, while crashes on major roadways snarl traffic around metro Denver.
Those waiting for a light rail train could experiences delays up to 10 minutes, while buses could be delayed anywhere from 10 to 45 minutes, the Regional Transportation District tweeted Saturday morning.
Meanwhile, multiple westbound lanes of Interstate 70 are blocked at Lowell Boulevard as crews clean up a crash. Long delays are expected, the Colorado Department of Transportation tweeted.
The slick roads have put several municipalities — including Boulder and Wheat Ridge — on accident alert.
