The Broncos’ 2020 regular season opponents were set on Sunday.
Home-and-away
*Kansas City: The Chiefs enter 2020 with nine consecutive wins over the Broncos, including 30-6 and 23-3 this year.
Las Vegas: The Raiders’ move from Oakland to Vegas should fetch them a Monday night game. Maybe the Broncos in Week 1 or 2?
L.A. Chargers: Their days playing at a soccer stadium over, the Chargers will have a new stadium and maybe a new quarterback.
Home
*Buffalo: The Bills, who are in the playoffs for the second time in three years, beat the Broncos 20-3 in November.
Miami: Armed with three first-round picks, Dolphins figure to be active in the offseason for second-year coach Brian Flores.
*New Orleans: QB Drew Brees turns 41 next month, so this will probably be his last visit to Denver (0-5 career at Mile High).
Tampa Bay: The Buccaneers entered Week 17 with the third-most points scored (29.1 per game) and allowed (28.1 per game).
*Tennessee: One of the Broncos’ most dominant defensive efforts of the season came in a 16-0 win over the Titans at Mile High on Oct. 13.
Away
Atlanta: The Falcons will play one non-divisional home game in London and the Broncos wouldn’t argue if chosen.
Carolina: The first time Panthers running back Christian McCaffrey, an alum of Valor Christian, will face his hometown team.
*New England: The Broncos’ first trip to Foxborough since November 2014 (43-21 loss) when Peyton Manning was still around.
N.Y. Jets: The Jets rushed for 323 yards on the Broncos in a 34-16 romp in the Swamp (October 2018).
Pittsburgh: Broncos haven’t visited Heinz Field since 34-27 loss in December 2015, the team’s final defeat before ripping off five straight wins en route to a Super Bowl title.
