Texas A&M forward Ally Watt, who starred in track and soccer at Pine Creek High School, on Thursday was selected by the North Carolina Courage with the No. 6 overall pick in the National Women’s Soccer League draft.
Watt is the third player with a Colorado tie to be selected in the draft. Fossil Ridge graduate Sophia Smith was the No. 1 overall pick to Portland Thorns FC and CU Buffs midfielder Taylor Korniek went to the Orlando Pride with the No. 3 pick.
