The Monarch Coyotes narrowly lost to the Fort Collins Lambkins in a 56-53 game on Tuesday, Jan. 14.
Fort Collins was paced in scoring by Emily Johnson who scored 15 points while also grabbing five rebounds. Rachel Jones and Shayne Young also had respectable games contributing 14 points and 12 points, respectively.
Monarch was paced in scoring by Emily Kennie who put up 18 points, while also recording one rebound and two assists. Chelin Isaacson had a productive night, scoring 11 points.
Both teams will go on the road in their next contest, with Fort Collins heading to play Legacy and Monarch taking on Fossil Ridge.
