Jeffco sheriff searching for driver of stolen Porsche

A Porsche Boxster, stolen in Denver, has been recovered in Jefferson County, and police are looking for the thief, who fled the area carrying a large blue gym bag.

The Boxster was found in the 11000 block of the I-70 Frontage Road, according to the sheriff’s office. The sports car was seen on the west side of the metro area in and around Morrison, Golden and Wheat Ridge.

Investigators describe the suspected thief as a white woman with brown hair that was in a bun. She was wearing dark clothing and has a tattoo on her left hand. She was carrying a large, blue gym bag.

A new Boxster retails for about $60,000, according to the Porsche website.
