Thomas Jefferson was lead in scoring by Brooke Murrell who scored 20 points while also recording 12 rebounds and one assist. Lauren Simasko had a respectable night, recording 13 points, four rebounds and two assists.
Both teams will go on the road in their next contest, with Thomas Jefferson heading to play Kennedy and Colorado Springs Christian taking on La Junta.
