Caprock Academy could not overcome Meeker in 57-44 loss on Friday.
Meeker was lead in scoring by Elijah Deming who put up 14 points while also recording six rebounds and one assist. Spud White recorded a double-double, scoring 12 points and collecting 12 rebounds.
Caprock Academy was lead in scoring by Andrew Jordan who scored 16 points, while also recording five rebounds and two assists. Daniel Spinu had a respectable night, recording 14 points, four rebounds and three assists.
Next up for each team, Caprock Academy will stay home and play Vail Mountain, while Meeker will travel to play Vail Christian.
