Basalt was solid from downtown, sinking 40% of their attempts but ultimately fell 64-42 against Delta on Saturday.
Delta was paced in scoring by Alexa Huff who scored 21 points while also grabbing eight rebounds. Sara Geddes helped the effort by chipping in 15 points, three rebounds, and three assists.
Basalt was paced in scoring by Gracie Reardon who scored 19 points while grabbing five rebounds. McKinley Braun aided the effort by contributing six points and five rebounds.
Next up for each team, Basalt will stay home and play Vail Christian, while Delta will travel to play Montrose.
