The Fossil Ridge Sabercats narrowly lost to the Castle View Sabercats in a 42-39 contest on Saturday.
Castle View was lead in scoring by Leaya Mckinney who accounted for 13 points while also grabbing six rebounds. Alexa Barkeen helped by contributing 11 points and seven rebounds.
Fossil Ridge was paced in scoring by Lauren Zwetzig who put up 18 points, while also collecting nine rebounds and one assist. Davin Tonn helped the effort by chipping in six points.
Both teams will go on the road in their next contest, with Castle View heading to play Mountain Vista and Fossil Ridge taking on Horizon.
