The La Junta Tigers narrowly lost to Colorado Springs Christian in a 44-41 contest on Saturday.
Colorado Springs Christian was paced in scoring by Caleb Stockton who put up 21 points while also recording three rebounds and three assists. Josh Erickson helped by chipping in 16 points and five rebounds.
La Junta was lead in scoring by Chance Oquist who scored 25 points while collecting 13 rebounds. Daxton Blair had a good night, recording nine points.
Both teams will stay at home in their next contest, with Colorado Springs Christian hosting Manitou Springs and La Junta taking on The Vanguard School.
