The Hayden Tigers earned a win when they defeated the Paonia Eagles 47-42 on Friday, Jan. 17.
Hunter Slowik lead Hayden with 14 points scored while also collecting six rebounds and five assists. Liam Frentress recorded a double-double, scoring 14 points and collecting 13 rebounds.
Paonia was lead in scoring by Logan Green who put up 14 points. Kyle Long helped by chipping in six points.
In their next games, Hayden will play host to Hotchkiss, while Paonia will travel to play West Grand.
