The Grand Valley Cardinals earned a win when they defeated the Olathe Pirates 59-48 on Friday, Jan. 17.
Emilio Garcia lead Grand Valley with 21 points scored while also recording two rebounds and two assists. Alex Cornejo and Kade Paulson also had good outings contributing 12 points and nine points, respectively.
Both teams will go on the road in their next contest, with Grand Valley heading to play Rifle and Olathe taking on Moffat County.
