The Holyoke Dragons narrowly lost to the Limon Badgers in a 35-31 game on Saturday.
Limon was lead in scoring by Toni Lopez who scored 12 points while also collecting three rebounds. Trista Marx had a notable night, scoring nine points.
Holyoke was lead in scoring by Kristin Vieselmeyer who put up eight points, while also collecting four rebounds and one assist. Lauren Herman aided the effort by contributing eight points, nine rebounds, and two assists.
Both teams will go on the road in their next contest, with Limon heading to play Deer Trail and Holyoke taking on Sedgwick County.
