
The Rangely Panthers narrowly lost to the Plateau Valley Cowboys in a 48-46 showdown on Saturday.
Maddisyn Miller lead Plateau Valley with 18 points scored while also recording eight rebounds and two assists. Madison Clark and Cahlea Dennison also had notable outings contributing 15 points and 11 points, respectively.
Rangely was lead in scoring by Kacie Lapp who scored 15 points while collecting 11 rebounds. Hannah Wilkie had a respectable night, recording 11 points, 10 rebounds and two assists.
Rangely will play host to Caprock Academy, while Plateau Valley will travel to play Paonia.
