The Simla Cubs easily defeated Dolores Huerta Prep by a score of 58-24 on Saturday, Jan. 18.
Kaitlyn Rector lead Simla with 15 points scored while also collecting 10 rebounds and one assist. Halle Lutz helped the effort by chipping in 14 points, four rebounds, and three assists.
Dolores Huerta Prep was paced in scoring by Mariel Castro who put up six points while grabbing six rebounds. Vanessa Sandoval aided the effort by chipping in four points and two rebounds.
Simla will stay home and play Fountain Valley, while Dolores Huerta Prep will travel to play Florence.
