The Centaurus Warriors earned a win when they defeated the Greeley Central Wildcats 35-34 on Tuesday.
Owen Koonce lead Centaurus with 16 points scored while also collecting eight rebounds and one assist. Ryan Vaver aided the effort by chipping in six points and two rebounds.
Greeley Central was lead in scoring by Arturo Guzman who accounted for 13 points while grabbing six rebounds. Marcos Hernandez had a notable night, scoring eight points.
Both teams will go on the road in their next contest, with Centaurus heading to play Niwot and Greeley Central taking on Thompson Valley.
