Montrose was a force to be reckoned with in the paint, grabbing 64.3 of all rebounds and swatting four shot attempts in their 67-44 victory over Delta on Tuesday.
Luke Hutto lead Montrose with 19 points scored while also recording 16 rebounds and two assists. Trey Reese had a good night, recording 17 points, six rebounds and four assists.
Delta was paced in scoring by Javier Medina who scored 15 points. Evan Baier had a productive night, scoring seven points.
Delta will stay home and play Coal Ridge, while Montrose will travel to play Grand Junction Central.
