Alexis Folks lead Arvada West with 12 points scored while also grabbing five rebounds. Amanda Neff recorded a double-double, scoring 10 points and collecting 14 rebounds.
Monarch was paced in scoring by Natalie Guanella who put up nine points, while also recording six rebounds and three assists. Abigail Russo had a productive night, scoring nine points.
Both teams will go on the road in their next contest, with Arvada West heading to play Pomona and Monarch taking on Fairview.
