The Denver Nuggets officially have a new beer.

Breckenridge Brewery on Monday announced the upcoming release of Mile High City, a copper lager it describes as “exceptionally smooth,” for the NBA team. The beer will debut Thursday, Jan. 30 at the Pepsi Center during the Nuggets’ game against the Utah Jazz, as well as at bars and liquor stores across Colorado.

Mile High City features full pint and Munich malts, 5.7% ABV and has 20 international bitter units (IBU). Breckenridge describes it as “lightly toasted sweetness balanced with a refreshingly clean finish.”

“We brewed the beer to be smooth, light and refreshing so that itap the perfect courtside companion for fans as they root for the Nuggets this winning season,” Todd Usry, president of Breckenridge Brewery, said in a news release.

Mile High City is the latest beer to be officially connected to a Colorado sports team. Breckenridge also produces the United in Orange pale ale for the Broncos. New Belgium Brewing makes Old Aggie, a superior lager, for the Colorado State Rams. And for the Colorado Buffaloes last April.
