The Canon City Tigers easily defeated the Woodland Park Panthers by a score of 62-42 on Thursday.
Kate Tedquist lead Canon City with 22 points scored while also collecting two rebounds and seven assists. Emily Till and Jerika Moore also had respectable performances contributing 12 points and 10 points, respectively.
Woodland Park was lead in scoring by Sarah Iskra who accounted for 15 points, while also recording three rebounds and one assist. Ashlynd Cummins helped the effort by contributing eight points and five rebounds.
Woodland Park will play host to The Classical Academy, while Canon City will travel to play Mesa Ridge.
