Mitchell drops contest to Sierra in 50-40 loss on Thursday.
Dailen Terry lead Sierra with 19 points scored while also collecting four rebounds. Imani Grigsby had a solid night, recording 16 points, six rebounds and four assists.
Mitchell was paced in scoring by Wilson Danks who put up 10 points while grabbing one rebounds. Tarves Washington and Domanick Trujillo also had notable performances contributing nine points each.
Sierra will stay home and play Harrison, while Mitchell will travel to play Widefield.
