The Mesa Ridge Grizzlies narrowly lost to The Classical Academy in a 64-62 contest on Thursday.
The Classical Academy was paced in scoring by Katharine Roach who scored 19 points while also recording one rebound and one assist. Gracie Dorny and Shenna Daum also had respectable performances contributing 13 points and 11 points, respectively.
Mesa Ridge was paced in scoring by Taleiyah Gibbs who scored 20 points, while also collecting seven rebounds and four assists. Marissa Spencer aided the effort by chipping in 18 points and three rebounds.
Mesa Ridge will play host to Canon City, while The Classical Academy will travel to play Elizabeth.
