Frederick was solid from three-point land, drilling eight threes but ultimately lost 73-49 to Berthoud on Tuesday.
Berthoud was lead in scoring by Emily Cavey who put up 24 points while also recording five rebounds and two assists. Breanna Fowler and Maddie Barcewski also had respectable games contributing 16 points and 13 points, respectively.
Frederick was paced in scoring by Megan Majeres who put up 14 points, while also collecting five rebounds and three assists. Kenna Tarnowski helped by chipping in 10 points and two rebounds.
Frederick will stay home and play Windsor, while Berthoud will travel to play Fort Morgan.
