The Hotchkiss Bulldogs defeated the Vail Christian Saints by a score of 40-32 on Friday.
Indigo Miller-Barnes lead Hotchkiss with nine points scored while also grabbing four rebounds. Elsie Vazquez helped by contributing seven points, eight rebounds, and two assists.
Vail Christian was paced in scoring by Mccurdy Grace who put up 13 points, while also collecting nine rebounds and two assists. Daisy Palacio helped the effort by chipping in six points and nine rebounds.
Both teams will go on the road in their next contest, with Hotchkiss heading to play Rangely and Vail Christian taking on Liberty Common.
