The Merino Rams easily handled the Akron Rams by a score of 61-32 on Friday.
Merino was paced in scoring by Taysa Conger who put up 21 points while also collecting nine rebounds and three assists. Hannah Pejsa-Stegner helped by chipping in 19 points, six rebounds, and three assists.
Akron was lead in scoring by Tori Lundquist who scored 10 points. Kyla Pachner helped by contributing seven points.
Looking ahead to their next games, Merino will play host to Dayspring Christian Academy, while Akron will travel to play Limon.
