The Poudre Impalas narrowly lost to the Monarch Coyotes in a 49-47 showdown on Tuesday.
Natalie Guanella lead Monarch with 14 points scored while also collecting two rebounds and one assist. Emily Kennie and Arezo Safi also had solid performances contributing 11 points and 10 points, respectively.
In their next games, Monarch will play host to Horizon, while Poudre will travel to play Boulder.
