Mesa Ridge could not overcome Canon City in 51-40 loss on Saturday.
Jerika Moore lead Canon City with 18 points scored while also recording 12 rebounds and two assists. Kate Tedquist had a productive night, recording 11 points, one rebound and three assists.
Mesa Ridge was lead in scoring by Taleiyah Gibbs who accounted for 18 points while collecting seven rebounds. Serin Dunne had a solid night, scoring 15 points.
Next up for each team, Mesa Ridge will stay home and play Widefield, while Canon City will travel to play Widefield.
