The Meeker Cowboys earned a win when they defeated the Paonia Eagles 59-50 on Saturday.
Meeker was paced in scoring by Cole Rogers who scored 23 points while also collecting one rebound and two assists. Spud White had a productive night, recording 20 points, eight rebounds and three assists.
Both teams will go on the road in their next contest, with Meeker heading to play Plateau Valley and Paonia taking on De Beque.
