
The Vanguard School easily defeated the Trinidad Miners by a score of 88-44 on Tuesday.
The Vanguard School was lead in scoring by Dominique Clifford who accounted for 30 points while also recording 10 rebounds and four assists. Joseph Padilla had a respectable night, recording 16 points, four rebounds and seven assists.
Trinidad was paced in scoring by William Cervantes who accounted for 16 points, while also recording one rebound and two assists. Noah Robinson aided the effort by chipping in eight points.
Both teams will go on the road in their next contest, with The Vanguard School heading to play Florence and Trinidad taking on Manitou Springs.
