In advance of the Avalanche’s NHL Stadium Series game, Colorado captain made a trip down south with an NHL video crew to experience some of what the Air Force Academy has to offer.

Landeskog was given a flight suit, complete with a custom nametag and explored everything, from joining the Falcons hockey team on the ice to sitting inside a T53A training aircraft with Air Force hockey player Matthew Pulver. The Avs forward also jumped off of 10-meter diving platform at the campus’ pool.

“I feel very fortunate to have the opportunity to be a cadet for a day,” Landeskog says in the video. “It’s been a lot of fun, you know. Their hospitality’s been second to none and just makes me more excited to come back and see some familiar faces at our outdoor game.”

The game against the Kings will take place on Feb. 15 at Falcon Stadium.
