Cherry Creek dominated the post, collecting 66.7 of all rebounds and blocking 10 shots in their 93-18 victory over Smoky Hill on Wednesday.
Jana Van Gytenbeek lead Cherry Creek with 27 points scored while also collecting five rebounds and eight assists. Kacee Kyle helped by chipping in 13 points, five rebounds, and two assists.
Smoky Hill was lead in scoring by Trinity Grambush who put up eight points while grabbing two rebounds. Rachel Nasstad aided the effort by chipping in three points and three rebounds.
In their next games, Cherry Creek will play host to Cherokee Trail, while Smoky Hill will travel to play Grandview.
