Mesa Ridge could not overcome Widefield in 46-37 loss on Wednesday.
Widefield was lead in scoring by Liliani Krause who accounted for 18 points while also collecting five rebounds and two assists. Erika Warner aided the effort by contributing 14 points, nine rebounds, and four assists.
Mesa Ridge was paced in scoring by Taleiyah Gibbs who scored 11 points, while also recording three rebounds and two assists. Marissa Spencer aided the effort by chipping in eight points and nine rebounds.
Looking ahead to their next games, Widefield will play host to Canon City, while Mesa Ridge will travel to play Harrison.
