
Widefield could not overcome Canon City in 38-19 loss on Friday, Jan. 31.
Emily Till lead Canon City with 14 points scored while also grabbing seven rebounds. Kate Tedquist aided the effort by contributing nine points, six rebounds, and four assists.
Widefield was paced in scoring by Knikita Slaght who put up eight points while collecting two rebounds. Aurelia Samora and Jordyn Guidry also had notable games contributing three points each.
Both teams will go on the road in their next contest, with Canon City heading to play Harrison and Widefield taking on Woodland Park.
