Horizon was paced in scoring by Britta Cardenas who put up 18 points while also collecting six rebounds and two assists. Olivia Waufle and Cc Denava also had notable games contributing 15 points and nine points, respectively.
Monarch was lead in scoring by Natalie Guanella who scored 19 points while collecting two rebounds. Amelia Rosin helped the effort by contributing six points and four rebounds.
Both teams will go on the road in their next contest, with Horizon heading to play Fort Collins and Monarch taking on Rocky Mountain.
