Pueblo East owned the interior, grabbing 60.9 of all rebounds and blocking four shot attempts in their 56-46 win over Pueblo South on Thursday, Jan. 30.
Darnell Kindred lead Pueblo East with 14 points scored while also grabbing seven rebounds. Kyle Miller had a notable night, scoring 12 points.
Pueblo South was paced in scoring by Tarrance Austin who accounted for 20 points, while also recording two rebounds and five assists. Gavin Eborn had a solid night, scoring nine points.
Both teams will stay at home in their next contest, with Pueblo East hosting Pueblo Central and Pueblo South taking on Pueblo Centennial.
